From handling helicopters to flipping burgers, Squadron Leader Hemanth Sudev traded his Air Force wings for a chef’s apron—with one mission in mind: to serve food that’s high in quality, rich in flavour, and light on the pocket.

In October 2023, that mission took shape as Rotormans, a late-night gourmet food truck tucked inside IIT Chennai. What began as a passion project quickly became a beloved haven for night owls, students, and food lovers alike.

Open from 9 PM to 6 AM, Rotorman's dishes out handcrafted burgers, wraps, hot dogs, salads, and refreshing beverages—each bite made with care, and a touch of discipline honed in the forces.
